Anyone know if Verizon is going to address the botnet infection affecting the Actiontec GT78WN router

It can be mitigated for now by disabling UPnP in your router. Doing this will only impact game consoles, but even then UPnP is not needed for most games to work.

It also wouldn't hurt to test your connection using ShieldsUp. Run both their UPnP test and their Service Ports test to make sure the test shows you're in good shape.
