can you stream with DSL?

Interested in Verizon internet currently on satellite.  Can you stream with DSL??  My connection is metered FIOS is not available neither is cable.  Looking for alternatives.

If you can get a 3Mbps DSL line where you're at, that should be enough for 720p and some light web browsing alongside the stream. Some low action 1080p should also be doable. You won't be able to stream to services like Twitch or YouTube, not without dropping the quality to 360p or worse.
