This error from IE 10 gives me
"The webpage cannot be found HTTP 404"
I get the same error from my laptop that has windows xp IE 8.
the eHR web site is assessed from this page.

At work (windows xp IE 8 ) I was able to access the website so I think it is a Verizon problem

You don't need to wait overnight. You can manually release the IP address via admin on the router.
Logon to the router
select my network
select network connections
select broadband connection - whichever one is enabled
select configure connection
On the DHCP lease line select release
reboot the router
it should come up with a new ip address
I was able to connect from a time warner site
works fine for me. running windows 7 with chrome or ie 10
Works for me on XP and Chrome
Works for me on Windows 7 and Firefox.
My guess is that the OP has received an IP address that is defined in a Bogon filter somewhere that identifies that address as a "bad" site. If that is the problem it should be easy to fix, just turn off the router before going to bed and turn it on the next morning, it is very likely that a new IP address with be assigned, and the problem will disappear. It might be a good idea to record the current IP address and then check the new one to make sure it has actually changed.

Not sure, but I think he was talking about the external IP, not internal.
I need to release the external IP ....
I reset the IP and saw a change in the IP but still cannot connect.
checked IP status and found could this be a problem?
