Does verizon dsl use a docsis 3.0 modem? Is it a faster modem that the actiontec gt704wg rev b (which i'm using now).
If so, can I get docsis 3.0 from verizon?

DOCSIS 3.0 isn't a technology used on DSL service. That would be something you would have to get through your local Cable company. The highest you'll get from Verizon is ADSL2+, and you already have an ADSL2+ capable modem. The question now is whether or not Verizon has your line set on ADSL2+ and is taking advantage of the higher speeds it offers.
