fios router able to connect to a fax printer?

I have the brother MFC736ON printer that has fax functions (all in one laser printer) and verizon MI424WRI router. Would I be able to connect the printer to my modem to use as fax?

you should if its a wireless laser I'm really shabby about wired network but it should work the same way I believe.
