i cannot connect to the internet

I have try to connect to the internet I have turn off my modem and turned it back on and still cannot get connected. all my lights are on but the internet light.

That would be the make of your PC. Your modem is either a Westell or ActionTec unit provided by Verizon. If you look at this unit, ensure that the DSL light is not blinking, but is instead solid green. If the Internet Light is out, visit http://192.168.1.1/ using your PC and take a look at the main page of the modem. Does it say "PPP Down" on this page?
