My work laptop will not keep an internet connection for WiFi.  It was before.  Now I connect it, it says its connected then it drops connection within seconds.  My home pc laptop has internet as well as my phone and iPad mini ALL have internet connections.  And my TV works.  It is only my work laptop pc that will not get internet.  I need internet for work pc IMMEDIATELY .  I am taking an online class for school and have a paper, and projects DUE.  Thank you.

Can you try hard wiring it to router to see if that gets you online?

You don’t say what router. Is it the crappy Fios Quantum Gateway Router? Or your customer owned router? Go into the laptop from work and find your network SSID and click forget network. Turn the work laptop off, wait a few minutes and turn it back on.

then see if it finds your home network.

if it does put in the correct password and see if that fixed the problem.

as the other poster said it advisable to hook ethernet into your laptops nic interface.

if you don’t have one get one to plug into your USB port and then hard hook to the routers LAN port
