need to change the channel on router

Hi,

I know how to change the channel on my router. I've done it before with help from Verizon support. But I can't find the page where I do this. I think it's a page with just numbers as an URL: 191... something. Anyone know how to find that out without having to call Verizon? I have way better things to do than sit on hold!

Go to Wireless Settings, Basic Security Settings, item 3.  (Your router IP is 192.168.1.1 -- open this up in a browser and enter your user name and password.)

Are you talking about the username/password you use to access the privileged commands in the router control page?

If so, the defaults are listed as a response in another thread in this forum.  If I remember right (a rare event), the first default is admin/password.
