rcmdva.east.verizon.net not connecting to all sites.

It seems this issue is starting to spread as I am seeing more message board posts about it across the web.

Sometimes I can turn the router on and off and connect that way, but some sites still won't connect. According to one sites diagnostics, it is due to packets being dropped on the Verizon network.

If I bypass Verizon and use a proxy, I can access any site I want.

a) What is the brand and model of your modem?

b) If you have a seperate router: What is the brand and model of it?
