I am signing in much too often. I sign in to open. I then sign in to get my e-mail. When i go to another website I have to sign in again again. The "keep me signed" in pays no attention.

That's a problem area for Verizon. For some the "keep me signed in" seems to work. You'll probably get some replies blaming it on your cookies. But you aren't alone. Unfortunately, there is no solution to the signin issue. The best suggestion I can give is to use a 3rd party email client to access mail (Such as Outlook or Thunderbird.) Then use the Verizon site as little as possible.
