thamks for the help.
How does the actual computer perform? Does it work fine and can be left on for hours without issue, or does the machine lock up/freeze regardless of what you are doing on it? Having Internet with Verizon should not cause the computer to lock up. What can cause issues with the computer is the Verizon software, but even then, it shouldn't be that bad to the point that the machine needs to be rebooted or shut down and restarted.
I would also vest in the speed being set to some low value compared to what the videos in your e-mails need, if they are streamed rather than played back simply as attachments. It's tough to say what the problem is without knowing a bit more about how things are set up on your computer.
But for now if you'd like before replying back with your answers, visit http://www.speedtest.net/ and run a speed test for us. Share the results you get back. http://www.testmy.net/ is another website I use for speed testing and prefer it over speedtest.net.
