what does a red blinking light labeled dsl mean on a model dsl 2750 router?

I just ordered internet for the 1st time and pluged in the router as instructed but tonight noticed a red flashing light on the front labeled dsl, the service is scheduled to be on tomorrow night is that why the light is blinking or is there something wrong with my phone line?

That light will not be green until your service is activated because there is no DSL service flowing.

I'm not aware of the DSL Lights actually being able to turn Red. Are you sure that's the light turning Red and not something like the Power light or the Internet light? Usually when there is no DSL service, the DSL light will just flash constantly. If the signal is there but your line has not been fully provisioned, that's when you'll get the Red Internet light.
