Is there a certain wireless card I can get so that my second desktop can hook onto the DSL wireless router---at Best Buy they said I might want to order one form here because they often have compatibility issues with a DSL router....

I've not heard of many compatibility issues regarding the routers Verizon provides, besides those being due to software/hardware or some odd setting in the firmware. Just pick up any old card (I do suggest the internal ones over USB ones) and stick it in, getting the latest drivers from the Internet for the card.
