I previously had home phone and Internet service from Feb-may say this experience has been a nightmare is an understatement.....from the beginning of my 2 no show install dates where I was pleaded with on the phone not to cancel my not having slow to compketely non working internet from March until I left in may....the entire month of April I had no Internet and 4 tech visits on 4 consecutive Saturdays where I was give a multitude of excuses for why my services didn't work but no one could repair them....they were repaired 2 days before I moved to north carolina. I called in to cancel my service and request a final bill mailed to my new address...I wanted to see that the charges for my April services were being credited back so I wanted to physically review the bill before paying. I still to this day have not recieved a bill....I was not credited back my internet charges until July I canceled services and requested a final bill in may. I have since called a dozen times requesting the bill no one would seem to go over it with me on the phone...I could not download an itemized bill online and I was told it could not be emailed to me. I have practically begged to be sent a final bill and I still have not recieved one and have now been put in collections....I spoke to a gentleman named Matt Friday evening who confirmed that no one had changed my address from my VA address to my NC address like I had requested a dozen times. He then requested to have a copy mailed to me....he told me to call financial series this morning pay my balance and ask to be removed from collections since it was verizon customer service error that my address wasn't changed like I requested and I should not be penalized for wanting to see my bill before I paid it. He assured me that my file would be notated and the conversation would be documented. I have called this morning I have paid I have been on the phone for over 2 hours...I am not being told the conversation Friday with Matt never existed and they have no record of me ever calling to request my bill even though the credit to my account wasn't made until July when I called....which they are now saying I did not...and they will no remove this from my credit report....this has been the worst experience of my life with any company....I want a solution to my problem and no one seems to knowhow to provide one....for a company that's slogan is thank you for being the best part of Verizon...I certainly don't feel like the best part of verizon....I certainly have not been treated like I am the best....I have been treated like I'm some kind of liar trying to skip out on a bill I've been practically begging to receive that I still havnt recieved being punished for not wanting to pay without seeing my bill...that certainly does not make me feel like I'm the best part of verizon
