I have been working with Verizon for 2 months trying to get high speed Internet.
My new DSL router speed is only at 1 Mbps, when I ordered it, I asked for full speed DSL.
On Nov. 18, it was verified that we are signed up for fastest 7.2 Mbps.
I have spent hours on the phone talking to various branches of Verizon, almost daily, trying to get the speed I need and am paying for.
Almost every time I get disconnected after finally talking to a human when they put me on hold.
More than once it was "Expedited"
I did have a tech here this week & he checked the line & it was good, but said we are only provisioned for 1 Mbps, he can't change it.
Again, I called Tech Support, who verified that my DSL line was provisioned for 3 to 7 Mbps
I was transferred to Customer Support. I was "upgraded" to 5 Mbps and they sent me an email to verify my order, the third time for this email.
It was to be active at midnight this AM. No change.
I should note that I had DSL thru another vendor at full speed on the same phone line.
