Hi. I signed up for Verzion fios and I was approved after a credit check, but when I checked my credit report, the system pulled two hard credit checks. I only authorized one. Is there same way to speak to someone and have the duplicate request removed?

Credit pulls (hard) as a rule do not affect your FICO score if below I think 6 or 7 such inquires. On certain occasions two of the same inquiry is just counted as one check.
contact the credit bureaus on the phone or online and alert about the duplicate entry and they will remove it.
if you go to buy a car you get 3 or more hits at one time as the dealers don’t care how many banks etc. they push out to for the best rates. They stay on two years and then fall off. No biggie
