I have a G1100 that I bought on Amazon years ago with a Motorola MOCA ethernet adapter. Ever since last month my connection keeps going out, sometimes it would come right back, sometimes it didn't. As of last week, it would go out for hours before I would restart the router then it would come back. I tried going through Verizon support for this, but they don't understand my issue, they're not technical enough. I don't think they even know what MOCA is...
I think the issue is the G1100 but I'm not sure, because as soon as I reboot it, my internet works again...
The G1100 has a built in MoCA adapter (two, actually; WAN and LAN.) Why are you using the Motorola adapter? A description of your network topology would help.
When the network "goes out," what exactly happens? Is the problem on the router's WiFi, Ethernet or both?
