G3100 and E3200 - 2.4Ghz band not broadcasting - 5.0 is fine

Hi.

I have a G3100 and five E3200 around my property.

When I first set it up, I was able to see the 2 bands (2.4 and 5.0).

However the router did an update recently - I noticed the web interface had changed.

Ever since then, I cannot see the 2.4 broadcasting for any device to pick it up.

SON is disabled.

The 2.4 band as well as 5.0 band 1 and band 2 are enabled and broadcasting.

On G3100

Firmware Version - 3.1.1.17
Hardware Version - 1104

On 4 of the E3200
Firmware Version - 3.1.1.17
Hardware Version - 1102

On 1 of the E3200
Firmware Version - 3.1.1.17
Hardware Version - 1103

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
-Nic

This sounds like a data sync issue between G3100 and E3200. Try rebooting the G3100 and only the G3100. E3200 only receives the data so no need to reboot them, otherwise it is going to cause confusions.

I'm wondering if SON, was somehow enabled despite showing disabled. šŸ¤”

If all else fails, try resetting the router to see if that clears things up.

Thanks - I ended up doing a reset in all of them to ensure a clean slate.  So far so good. That seemed to resolve it.
