Gigabit is NOT worth it.

I upgraded to gagabit internet and am getting solidly 320-360 up/ under 100 down (30/30 on wifi) on fairly new equipment. Verizon just sent techs out who confirmed that everything is working as it should. Definitely NOT worth it. I am not looking forward to dealing with Verizon to downgrade, as they are usually unhelpful once they get your money.

IF really newer equipment and not using wifi, you should get higner.  Their are several other threads discussing things to check.
