How do I get my Verizon ID in the domain name?

I'm trying to go through the motions on Site Builder so I can eventually FTP my web site files. Site Builder is indicating my domain name will be http://mysite.verizon.net/(random series of numbers and letters)/. How do I get my default Verizon ID (or even a subacccount ID) in the website address in place of the randomly generated part?

you should have a regular verizon username not a random id like vze12345 or res12345. If you do not, then you need to activate your verizon account. go to http://activate.verizon.net/
