Been lagging for a while in a game called league of legends and interent in general. The ping in the game is usually 27-30 ping/ms but during some times it goes up to 250+ ping/ms but goes back to normal after a few seconds. But there have been some occasions where it took a pretty long while for it to connect back. Im pretty sure its jitter but i dont know how to fix it

#1 While it is not possible to use ethernet directly to your computers/devices, there are other types of wired networking. Like:
Power grid (Points to https://computer.howstuffworks.com/power-network1.htm )
Phone Line (Points to https://computer.howstuffworks.com/phone-network.htm )
what looks like TV Cable (normally called MOCA).

Try the one of above wired networking fixes, other than using ethernet, and report back the results.
More info would help, like...

#2 Brand and model of your Router.
#3 How you are connected to this router (wired/wireless).
#4 What this test site shows https://www.verizon.com/speedtest/ - Not including what your IP Address is !!
