Media Manager for Mac does not see protected MPEGs

Not sure why Media Manager doesn't see the protected MPEGs in my iTunes collection or how to get around it..........
Any ideas?

The answer is pretty much right in front of you. If "Protected MPEG" implies Video/Audio that is encrypted, or is otherwise loaded with DRM or is locked to say, iTunes, the Media Manager software would be unable to use it for that very reason. If these are iTunes Purchases for movies/videos, then this would hold true. Music from iTunes should be DRM-free these days, in which case, it may be the media files not being supported. If not, I wouldn't have an answer at this moment.
