I am trying to setup multiple parental control rules on a single device. I have set a rule blocking certain websites from 2 devices. On those same two devices i want to block internet access during a specific time of the day but when i go back to create another rule, those 2 devices are not on the list of devices that i can add to the rule.
Why is that? Can i not create multiple rules for a single device?
Solved! Go to Correct Answer
Do you have Internet service only, or Internet and TV?
If you only have Internet, in most cases you can use your own router (with better parental controls). And you would eliminate the monthly router rental fee.
I second this question! I need to set two blackout windows for the kids and their devices are not listed after being used in one rule.
same question, any answer yet ?
i'm a SW engineer myself, how hard is it to add another rule ?
This interface is so painful.

If you are a software engineer then you know it is because of the limitations programmed into the hardware.
a careful reading of the routers user manual would explain the setup and use.
Good Luck
Oh well, you would think as an expensive service provider, Verizon would accomodate to this most basic of requests.

It's pretty disappointing to see that they haven't addressed this issue.
