About to have FIOS installed in a few days...just wanted to know if the ONT unit is installed to a inner or outer(wall that faces outside) wall of the house?

It varies by the location you want it to be. Or in certain cases the installer has to place it where the fiber drop is located. Ask them first if it can be done where you want.
