I believe there may be a problem in the way my FIOS service is provisioned and it is not properly set to allow me to use a 3rd party router. Anyone know how I can get a tech that can look at this on their end and resolve this for me?
I have now tried 3 different non-FIOS gigabit routers (same cabling, same location). All 3 result in file file upload speeds to the Dropbox service at 7-10 Mbps.
When I reconnect the Quantum Gateway, file upload speeds immediately go to 70-80 Mbps.
All ethernet, speedtests are consistent on all routers, but the reality (large file upload) is a 10x slowdown for pushing a file out on a 3rd party router (ANY 3rd party router) vs. pushing a file out using the Quantum Gateway.
Similar posts have indicated a network issue at the datacenter side with the line. I'm hoping this can be checked on.
