set firewall at lowest security level, allowed remote administration, even opened up DMZ and put some IP in there, nothing seems to work.
called in verizon fios, they were less than helpful. did not understand the problem, asked me to put the fixed external IP address in the DMZ, which the firewall does not allow.
so not sure how to get past this,
It cannot be a difficult problem, why can't verizon have a clear page up with explicit instructions.
their website is a mess on top of it, even getting to technical help on the phone is next to impossible
I am not quite understanding your problem. You want to access the Web GUI remotely? Default settings should allow you to do that without problem. Just type in the WAN IP in the browser.
