Router Password wrong for 2.4 g, ok with 5g

I have some older equipment that needs 2.4 speed.  Internet works great with 5g.

Last week something happened.  Everytime I switch to 2.4G it ask for my password.

Once entered it tell me that it is not correct.  I was programmed by Verizon to be the same password as 5g.

I don't know what has happened unless 2.4 portion of router is dead.

Any suggestions.  Thank you all.

I am going to assume you have the FiOS Quantum Gateway Router?

under WiFi settings simply go into the router settings 192.168.1.1 and just change the WiFi passwords to something you like.  Passonthrough123 or some other password.

this way when you access the 2.4 or 5 Ghz you can connect.

now barring this it may simply be the router has died. In that case call 1-800-VERIZON and get a new one. (Replacement)
