Me too - almost exact same issue but I'm 75/35 getting <1 mbps upload (but 84 down )
2nd tech just left after moving demark box away from power meter (thinking RF issue). No help. All the other "stuff already done (resets, new router, test new router at demark, etc.....)
Of course - tech never showed up yesterday after calling (reported as cust not home but I work from home - so....)
Passed to the black hole of "network support" - so lets see if somethign happen overnight.....

I have been having horrible connection problems. My work computer cannot maintain a VPN connection.
The internet becomes basically unusable in the evenings, especially google related products. I am unable to upload attachments more than a few hundred kB for my webmail.
When I run the Verizon Speed test it is good on download, but times out on upload. I can't actually get the Verizon speed test to work at this moment (tried the Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA servers.
Overall the service is so unusable (especially not being able to use VPN) that I will need to change providers unless this is fixed.
The router was changed out but hasn't fixed the problem. I am at my wits end with this and really don't have time to sit on the phone with technical support for hours rebooting things.
The VPN and other service work fine on other internet connections like on open wifi other places, friends' internets, etc. It actually works when I turn my Verizon phone into a hotspot and use it through that.
I am connecting directly to the Verizon router and have the problem when connecting through wifi and through an ethernet cable. I pay for a 35 mbit/s synchronous connection.

Particularly bad performance this morning.
At this point if somebody is considering switching to Verizon I would recommend against it. I am currently researching switching away from it.

I have no issues. Yes I do get network congestion during peak times on wireless, but changing channels on my router does help some. Still have issues with youtube during peak times, but thats a whole other issue.
I have the 50/25 plan and this is what I typically get on wireless.

Of course, this is most likely a geographical issue. I would also suggest trying another test site besides Verizon's, actually 2, speedtest.net and pingtest.net
