Unable to connect wireless device -FIOS PASSWORD not accepted by FIOS

I live in an old house (70yrs old). Friend suggested wifi extender because old houses have thicker walls so wireless does not work as well for netflix / amazon prime, etc.

I got a Belkin wifi extender. Tried to connect & password not accepted. I am looking at the router & typing the password (we are using the one on the FIOS modem). 

Very frustrating, cannot watch TV because of constant buffering.

Belkin is terrible product. However the WiFi extending functionality can be set up via this link.

However this tech site has a pop up ads which are annoying. You could just print it out and follow the directions.

also the Fios router likes its own brand of extender but other have used non Verizon products.
