I have FiOS with a Actiontec 1424-WR, rev. D router. I need help upgrading a home theater by adding a Bluray player with a wired connection. I am tech illiterate so please forgive me if is use the wrong terminology. I don't want to replace my projector, which is old (but otherwise fine) and therefore has only component inputs, because the connections are buried behind walls. I would like to add a MoCA device so that I can add a Bluray player that can connect to the Internet. If I can't find an older player that has component outputs I plan to add a cable that converts HDMI to component outputs. Can someone suggest a MoCA device and an appropriate splitter so that I can send the signal to my STB in addition to the BR player? I would appreciate any advice regarding equipment and connections (including the player if you are so inclined). Thank you.
