Just got an ipod touch, I have Verizon DSL not FIOS. My wireless access point connects to the touch, but I can't signon to the DSL to get onto the internet. Touch screen just keeps saying "connecting" but never does. How do I sign on to the DSL?

Ok.
#1 You are not using MAC Address Filtering?
#2 You are not using SSID Hiding?
#3 You did or did not change the SSID in the router?
#4 If you have no idea, it would help to know the exact model of that Linksys Wireless model G.
For example: WRT54G.

No to #1, #2 and #3. I made no changes.
The code is WAP54G ver.3
I was able to access the web and my email by piggybacking off another wireless network .

#1 While that may not legal to do what you did (connect to a neighor's wireless network?), fine.
This tells us that there is nothing wrong with the ipod.
#2 Can you access the net with your desktop or laptop (running Windows, Mac, or a Distro of Unix/Linux) using the WAP54G ver.3?
If not, we will have to find out why not.
If so, we will have to find why you can't access the net with the ipod.
