new dsl service modem delivery issue

I am considering adding DSL service at my summer property which already has a verizon phone line.

When attempting to place the order on the web, the online customer service agent told me the modem would be shipped to the service address. I informed them that no one lived full time at the service address and that the bill for the current verizon phone service is sent to my full time home address.

The service address does not get USPS mail or UPS/Fed Ex deliveries also.

I asked the customer service rep if the modem could be shipped to the billing address. They said no!

This seems ridiculous. Can someone respond to this issue?

I'm sorry you are having difficulty. An agent with access to your account will reach out to you directly by email, private message in the Forums and/or the billing telephone number on your Verizon account for more information or to help you resolve your issue.
