verizon security suite problems

I have tried several times to download the Ver. Sec.suite to no avail.Now I am receiving a message when I try it again that" the Verizon app. that you are trying to install is already started on this computer.Please find Ver. inter. sec. suite window on your taskbar." It is'nt on my taskbar.When I originally tried to load this I got through every step until the last one and this final step just kept running for hours,never completing. Any Ideas ,thanx

Soundsnlike it got installed in some kind of capacity. It also sounds like its non functional, so if that is the case. Download and run the mcafee removal tool. You can download it here. http://majorgeeks.com/McAfee_Consumer_Product_Removal_Tool_d5420.html After you are done, and have restarted the pc, come back and then install the verizon security software and it should go through.
