I am presently using the High Speed Internet with Verizon using a Westell 6100G DSL modem. Can I switched to any Wireless Router on the market to change my system to wireless, or do I have to get a specific wireless router from Verizon? Also, can I just add a wireless router to my present Westell DSL modem or does the wireless router replace my present modem?

Yes you can can, but
#1 You must get a RJ-45 WAN port router
#2 It is suggested that you follow the info that is at
http://www.dslreports.com/faq/13600
#3 If you follow that FAQ, I believe that will mean that you be outside of Verizon's tech support.

As which one to get from Verizon OR get from a retail store for Verizon use ( at Best Buy for example ), I don't know.
If you are interested in replacing your DSL modem combo with a DSL modem combo with wireless, you need to ask them.

See above.
