- Logged ticket for noise / no dial-tone on April 23rd
- Tech closed ticket on April 25th w/ no trouble found
- Re-opened ticket on April 25th
- Called into Verizon support for escalation
- Asked for supervisor call twice (nobody called)
- Was told May 2nd was the day for repair
- Tech arrived and had to defer to splicing deparrtment
- Service restored at 4:00 PM
Morale of the story is work should have been done on the 25th without using NTF
