I have ACR set on my digital voice service. I have another phone that is Verizon Freedom essentials and it has outgoing caller ID blocked, When a call is made from the Freedom Essential line with *82 to the digital line the caller id is "Private Name, Private Number". The *82 should let the name and number be displayed. This seems to be a Verizon problem between the land line and the digital line. When a call with *82 is made from Verizon Wireless or Optimum Phone the correct name and number is displayed. Does anyone else have this same problem?
Hey Ariatari, the *82 feature is Per Line Blocking for digital voice. Only in DE, NJ, PA, and Washington DC, in a DMS100 office, if a customer has line blocking and Voice Mail and they want to retrieve their messages, the customer must dial *82 to deactivate their line blocking to retrieve their messages.
