Adding Fax to DSL line?

Hi,

 I just got a MultiFunction Scan/Print/Copy/FAX machine....

How do I connect the machine to my landline, thru one of the plug-in filters or directly to the wall jack so I don't mess up the DSL service and can use the FAX properly?

Everything except the DSL modem needs to go through a DSL filter.

More than one device can be connected to a filter.  You can use one filter for your entire home if you can wire it such that everything except the modem is connected to it, you can install filters at each device,  or you can use a combination of shared and single device filters.

Regardless, your fax machine must go through a filter.
