I constantly receive a telephone call from {edited for privacy}. If I answer, I get brief, nonsensical mumbling, sometime in a male voice and sometimes female. How can I block calls from that number?
If caller ID info is being presented on your phone you may wish to subscribe to Verizon's "Call Block" feature. This will allow you to block incoming calls from your local calling area. Note, the feature will not block "some" cell phones of businesses. If the word "PRIVATE" is displayed, dial "*77". Anonymous call Block is part of your caller ID. Note, it will not block calls marked "unknown", "out of area" or "unavailable". If you receive an annoying call of a harassing or threatening nature, contact your local law enforcement agency and the Verizon "Unlawful Call" group.
