BEWARE! Verizon Sales Reps Scamming their Customers

I currently have a landline telephone (Freedom Essentials Plan) and High Speed Internet. A  Verizon Sales Rep contacted me to let me know "Verizon will be upgrading the telephone cables in my area".  An hour later I get an e-mail confirmation of my Verizon FIOS Double Play order and the scheduled date. I contacted Verizon immediately and cancelled the order. I did not appreciate being lied to and scammed by my telephone provider.

We do not answer our phone unless we want to talk to the caller.  They can leave a message which Verizon rarely does.

Use the caller ID and never have another problem with scammers of any kind!!!
