Some of the phone numbers I have blocked are still getting through. I just received a call (which I didn't pick up). It went to voicemail but no one left a message. I attempted to block the number but received a message stating the number was already blocked. The same thing happened the other day. Anyone else have this problem?
I've not validated my theory with a VERIZON representative but my suspicion is that those calls which get through simply prevent the phone from ringing while continuing to get logged as a call.
I've identified various numbers to BLOCK that continue to appear as a "Incoming Call". Example: {edited for privacy} called at 5:05 P.M., again at 5:05 P.M., and at 5:06 P.M. on 8/18/2018; at 8:01 P.M., 8:02 P.M. on 8/19/2018; and at 6:45 P.M. & 8:43 P.M. on 8/20/2018. Obviously the system logs the incoming calls, so I've concluded that the BLOCK amounts to and means simply that there is no RING.
Just my "theory" !
