Caller ID on TV when using your own router

I currently have my ONT set up as Ethernet output to my own router with the CoAX only serving the Verizon router for the TV function. Support tells me that becauuse of this option I have chosen that Caller ID on TV is not an option.  Does anyone know any workarounds for this issue.  I am using the ONT in Ethernet mode not MoCA mode and the Verizon Craption-Tech router for TV Services only, Out of the ONT I have CaT 6 feeding my Netgear WNDR-4000 Wireless Router.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Thanks to all in advance for your assistance

There are methods to do this, although in some cases they involve as many as three separate routers.  For details consult DSLReports and search for "Replacing the Actiontec."  For starters, try:

options 1 2 3 and 8 are the only configurations that will work for you.  so take a look at those.
