Over the past week or so, we have received quite a few calls where the caller ID never shows up. We only get an "Incoming Call" message on the phone but it doesn't then display the ID. There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason regarding which calls work (we get the ID) and which do not.
This is on a copper landline.
I'm having the same issue. Tested using my cell. Worked fine yesterday, but not today. People that call me all the time and their CallerID would show up, no longer appear all the time. Very random. I though it was the Cordless set, so I purchased a new set today ($116). Same problem. Tried putting the Base Unit on different jacks within the house - same problem. Tested it at the NID. Same problem. Verizon reports no outages in the area, so "it must be your phone."
Really guys????
Have the same issue with one of my digital voice lines. When I check call log it is empty. Two other lines seem to work most of the time.
