I have been unable to order Call Assistant online. I was told by a customer service rep that Call Assistant is not available in all areas. And that includes my area, Wantagh , Long Island in New York. Is this possible? Isn't it just a Web application? What would need to be done in my area to enable it? Am I not understanding what Call Assistant is?
Unfortunately, the customer service rep was correct. Call Assistant is a feature that is not available in all areas. The determining factor is the type of switch that is used in your central office, and according to the rep your local switch does not support Verizon Call Assistant. I am sorry about that.
