What can this be??? We can call Canada -- California and scads of other places. But our own Verizon WIreless phones??? NADA!!!

Strange problem. I certainly can call my cell (or anyone elses for that matter). If it's true, I'd certainly call the help desk!
The same thing happened to me. Two out of the four cell phone numbers we have can't be called from my landline. I called Verizon--both wireless company and the tech support for the landline. They have no clue.
Are you all using the Digital Voice version of FiOS phone, or are you using the classic version that routes over the Public Switched Telephone Network similar to a POTS line?
