Down phone wire

Phone wire is on ground outside my house. Tried contacting/calling Verizon several times today. Finally got thru to live body who said repair would get back to me.  Three hours later still nothing.  There is nothing on site to actually schedule a repair..  how do I at least get on a call back list to get a repair truck out?

We are having the same problem, wire laying on shed and back yard ground but haven’t been able to get a live person on the phone. Nor can I find a place on Verizon site to request service for this live wire outside the home. We had BG&E out and they have tagged the wire as cable and telephone. I’m not able to have my grandchildren outside in the yard because of this live wire laying on ground and afraid to go in shed.
