FIOS Voicemail on Computer

Still looking to hear voicemails on my Windows XP computer.

With Firefox and Chrome it works in a flaky manner. You have to click a couple of times to get the message to play.

With IE8 you can select the message but then it just sits there nonfunctioning.

Most of my work is done with IE8 and this is very frustrating.

Try right clicking internet explorer, and choose start without add ons, and then try to play the vms messages.

You can also access that by clicking start>programs>accessories>System tools and then select start without add ons

I tried starting with no addons.

With addons you get a popup with a play button and graphics next to it. The play button does nothing though. The phone number is also displayed.

Running without addons just displays the phone number twice on one line and the word "Loading... " on the next line. There is no play button or other graphics shown. I let it display Loading... for a while in case it was just a slow response but no luck.
