After 55yrs. with verizon.
We live in an apartment building. A contractor working in the building cut the cooper wires on a lower floor. So we had no dial tone discovered this on 2/11/2017. Verizon sent tech repair several times (4)only to say we can fix it at no charge you have to switch to fios. 2/22 fiber is a must fiber the only option . Fixing the riser wire is a option .
Shame on you verizon😭
2/17 Verizon set up voice link to restoe service and said this will be temp fix for only 90 days. Yesterday we received a letter titled
"Action Required to Ensure Continued Service"

You must call before March 14th 2017 to aet a service appointmenr. If we do not hear from you before March 14th 2017, we will assume that you wish to discontinue your verizon service, and your account for this service will be closed.
