I am trying to block bothersome calls. I have used call block for known numbers, but how the heck do you block phone numbers that show on caller ID as " 0-000-0000", "unavailable", "lower interest" and the like? Why does the FCC and phone companie not crack down on those who spoof their numbers so they cannot be reported? Surely the phone co's can set their equipment to terminate and not complete a call if the caller id is missing or bogus. I feel that business that spoof their numbers should be denied phone service, free speech be damned! If they want to violate the Do not call registry, they can pay the penalty!
Verizon please add ability to block calls from alpha numbers and unconventional digit formats.

This looks like a good candidate for the Idea Exchange. You could search to see if there is already an existing idea like yours and vote on it. If not, you could add it to the ideas 🙂
