I have somehow managed to get 2 emails every time my phone rings.
1 from verizoncallassistant@core.verizon.com and 1 from fiosadmin@verizon.com.
I'd like to keep the one from the call assistant and stop the one from the fiosadmin account. I see how to turn on/off the one from verizoncallassistant, but can't figure out how to stop the one from fiosadmin.
Any suggestions ?
TIA
Hi Tia, you need to go back into the call assistant settings for the admin and make sure you haven't selected to be alerted for every call you get. See as the admin, you would be notified of all calls. It seems since you are the admin and the user you are getting double emails, versus, an additional user who will just get the one. So please check your settings and see if you as the admin are requesting to be alerted as well. Thanks! Hope it helps!
Thanks, I think I see the 2 places where e-mail notices can be set up.
1 comes from clicking on settings from the VCA which gets you to a 'Verizon Call Assistant' web page.
The other comes from phone settings accessed thru the 'My Verizon' web page. VERY CONFUSING to have the same tool in 2 different places.
By the way, TIA = Thanks In Advance. That's not my name. So, stop calling me Shirley
I have a similar problem. I don't want to get ANY emails about calls I receive, and yet I continue to get emails from fiosadmin@verizon.com and I don't see any place to shut them off. I don't have emails on in either the Verizon Call Assistant or in the My Verizon. Can anybody point me to the way to shut these fool messages off?
Thanks!
