I have verizon home wireless. Last week it stopped working. No dial tone. I get a message on the phone "unable to call try again"

You're talking to other customers here.  Your problem looks like you need to talk to Verizon.  You can call them at 800-VERIZON or use online chat.  More support options can be found here: Contact Us.
